| Welcome in Laparade. Perched on a plateau surrounding the valley of the Lot in more than 190 m of height, the Bastide offers a wonderfull viewpoint. On ramparts, from the viewpoint indicator, the panoramic sight in 180°, from Tournon d' Agenais to the hillsides of Buzet-sur-Baïse. When the weather allows it, the massif of Pyrenees gets loose on the horizon. A walk in the streets of the Bastide allows to discover a place framed by two wells, a hurdy-gurdy hall in the very elaborated skeleton, classified ancient monument, houses in half-timbering, a neo-classic temple, remains of ramparts, and a part of the old moats.
