Tourist Office of Beauville County

Presentation
Located at Beauville in the heart of the "Pays de Serres", the Tourist Office of Beauville County is an inter-commune associative structure which gathers 8 communes.

The association created in 1998 is made up of voluntary and employs one people. Its role is to support and develop the tourist activity on the Beauville County.


Our Missions

• Reception and information of the tourists and the local population : various information about lodgings, excursions, leisures in Lot-et-Garonne.
• Tourist promotion: creation of information booklets, participation tourism trade shows, permanent contact with other tourism market makers or participants.
• Organization of local shows : Flower market (2nd Sunday of April), Farmers market (mid-June in mid-September), Secondhand trade vacuum-attics (2nd Sunday of August), Days of the tree (at the end of November), Christmas market.
• Organization of artistic and artisanal events. Logistical and administrative help to adherent associations.

The "Pays de Serres"
Between the Lot and the Garonne rivers, it is stretched from their confluence until the departments of the Lot and the Tarn-et-Garonne. Its name would come from these gray limestone crests which are drawn up with the top of the small valleys. For some people, it is with the image of the claws of a raptor that the relief owes this name. The soft slopes of the hills allow a general-purpose agriculture. The rural heritage is very rich with its typical wash-houses, pigeon or houses. The many Romance churches are remarkable for their square bell-tower or their "wall-belfry" with the heightened and arcades bored gable.

In the "Pays de Serres", the invitation to visit is omnipresent and the reception is one of the most cordial there.
