Located in the "Pays de Serres", boarding the Quercy and two departments, Beauville is a 570 inhabitants county chief town. It is while arriving from Agen that you will discover the strategic situation of the village.

Until the XVIth century, Beauville was an important baronnie of Agenais to which its many places testify. Many remains also reveal the economic importance of this old walled town of the XIIIth century.

The site of Marcoux offers an interesting point of view on Beauville and its surroundings.

Walks and Excursions

Wall-walk : the itinerary of this way shows the importance of the fortifications carried out in the XIIIth and XIVth centuries and allows a wide discovery of the surrounding countryside.

Three hiking roads of 6.5, 12 and 20 kms allow the discovery of the hillside and offer great satisfaction for quiet walkers.

Equestrian road of Agenais: Beauville is a stopping place of this equestrian course to discover the treasures of the Lot-et-Garonne. The program : castles, walled town and prunes.
